PROVERBS 1:7 - Berean Lamp Memory Verse - (May 29-June 5)

Posted by Nathan Warner on

The Berean Lamp Memory Verse for this week is:

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7).

Let's continue our look at "the Fear of the Lord" this week so that we may have the proper understanding of the difference between how the unrepentant fear God and shrink back to destruction and how the repentant fear God and find Him a refuge.

May our hearts be humbled by the awesome holiness of God - such that we cannot abide His presence in our fallen state. So, thanks be to Him that He sent His Son to stand in our place of judgement and gift us His righteousness to cover our spiritual nakedness, so that we are welcomed into the presence of God as His beloved children. Truly He is our loving and merciful Father! Even so, Amen.

“This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
